I am really worried about My boyfriend's money stress

My boyfriend over stresses about money, he can't sleep and night and has lost all of his energy

Hi there, this is a worry sort of linked to my other worry I've just typed a min ago. I forgot to say that my fella excessively worries about money. He says he's too stressed for sex. I feel sorry for him and try to help as i'm working and he is too, but nothing seems to stop him from worrying about money. We have a Pub, I don't work there but its in a bit of trouble like most pubs are with this credit crunch. My fella is making himself ill worrying over it, I can understand he's worried and i desperatly want to help him get out of the lease on it, but we can't cause it's not the right time to sell the lease !! He doesn't sleep and constantly works in our office at home, which means we hardly get any time together. The atmostphere in the house is rubbish and we argue, but I can't continue to see him in this state, he wont visit his Doctor. What should I do to help him, any ideas anyone pls ? x

I guess if the problem's the business, then perhaps you could visit your local library and see if you can find books on small businesses. Improving promotions, better budgeting, management skills - that kind of thing. Whether you read them or he does, you might get some good suggestions from them. I don't think any business is worth damaging his health over, though, so do continue to encourage him to unwind a bit and maybe improve his sleeping patterns, even if you can't get him to go to the doctor. An hour before bedtime should be chill out time (and won't cut into his working time substantially) and everyone needs eight hours sleep a night. Sleep deprivation is used as torture! All you can really do is support him, though, since businesses come and go, and sometimes there's only so much the business owner can do, as everyone is finding out in the recession. His business might be suffering but at least his girlfriend cares about him. :)
